Wow, I AM BAD aren't I?

It has been far toooo long since my last post!  Time has gotten away from me.

We have been making some decisions and we have decided to move closer to where my husband works.  Oliver is having issues again at school which helped our decision so at the start of term 4, he will be in a new school.  So we now have a matter of weeks to find somewhere to live.  *gasp*  Oliver is excited about meeting new friends so that's good.

At the moment I have so many things going on in my head - what do first!  Oh the joy's of moving.  LOL

Last weekend, I attend the INKlings annual weekend away.  Last year was my first time and Miss Emily was only 7 weeks away.  I was a little uncomfortable and really didn't get a lot done so I was really looking forward to this year's - no pregnant belly and a weekend away stamping with some very lovely ladies.  After arriving on Friday night, we got started on making cards.  Woo hoo.  I made lots of cards and once I photograph them, I will show you.

Sorry for my absence.  I promise to be back on track.  *insert embarrassed face*!

Happy Birthday

After my card for last months SAS HERE, I thought I would see how it would look with grey as the base card.

See the scored lines?  I don't mind the grey base - great for male cards.  Will have to make a few to keep hold of for when I need it.  My stack of cards has gone (except for 1 or 2) so I am in GREAT need of some spare ones.

Christmas SAS

Last month saw the start of my Christmas Stamp-a-Stack classes.

Here is the first card.  I've used Kraft and Pacific Point cardstock.  A bit non-traditional Christmas colours but I really like it.

The same card but using traditional Christmas colours.  I don't know if you can see in this picture, but I scored 1cm on either side (not the top or bottom).

These cards are great if you have a lot to do.  The longest part was the 2-step stamping with the flower stamp from Cottage Garden.  I used the 5 petal flower punch to then punch them out instead of cutting them out (that was a time saver!!). You could get a bunch of these completed in a few hours.  I think I might keep these as MY christmas cards to send out this year.

Boy, the weather has turned cold again here in Sydney. Brrrrrrr.  Over the weekend we had 20 & 22 degrees and we opened all our windows and doors hoping to get rid of any illness that might be lying around ready to get us again (lol).  Since Monday we have had 15 degrees. Brrrrr.  Bring on the warmer weather I say.  :-)
