I made these 'pull treats' for Oliver's teachers at pre-school. They hold the 125g Lindt Milk Chocolate Bar.
This will also be January's 3D class. Obviously, we will not be using the christmas DSP but I have not had the time to make one using the 'Good Morning Sunshine' DSP. I wanted to post pictures so you can see exactly what the 'pull treat' is! :-)

The Stamp-a-Stack class will be cards and you will make 8 cards in total, 4 each of 2 designs. Envelopes are included.
The 3D class will be gift ideas. This will include different types of boxes and more.
Both classes will run once a month but more classes will be added if there is a demand for it. Check out my WEBSITE for more information. I will post here anyway what class is coming up.

It got a bit too much for Poppy and Emily by late afternoon! LOL

I wasn't sure if I was going to get to make any swap cards for Regionals this year, but luckily Nicky came over the Tuesday before and spurred me on. I had to keep the cards pretty simple as I only had a few days to get them made. All I can say is "Thank goodness for punches".
I added a little dimension to the card too. I made 30 of them and got some really great swap cards in return. I thought I had photographed them all together, but obviously not.

We finally put up our Christmas tree this week. Oliver was in charge of decorating the tree. LOL
Although we couldn't find the star, Rob had an idea for an angel!
Yes, it is Emily!! ROFLOL. Oliver then wanted to be the angel - no way could lift him and hold him like Emily!
Here he is turning on the lights. You might be able to see that the baubles aren't quite evenly spaced so me just being me, have had to add more baubles and moved a few around! I went out and bought a new star after these photos were taken and then I found the 'old' star so I may use that next year.
Do you do colour themes? Last year it was red and gold, this year as you can see from the tree it is only gold and next year I am thinking of black and white. I still love the traditional christmas colours but I also like something different every now and then. LOL.

A few weeks ago (actually it is more like 3 weeks ago now), Stampin' Up! held their Sydney Regional Training day. It was at the Convention & Exhibition Centre which is also where 2010 Convention will be held.
This was my first regional training day. I took a guest with me (Vanessa) and my downline (Brenda) also came along.

Nicky was photographer for the day so when I catch up with her on Monday evening and the INKlings team Christmas Dinner, I will hopefully get some photos from her.
We got to complete 4 make & takes for the day.

Seasons Greetings? I know, you are thinking 'she's lost the plot!'. Not quite but I do sometimes wonder! LOL. Christmas is only 2 weeks away! Scary.
Here are my Christmas cards I sent out this year. They are already postal and the recipients should hopefully have them by now. I send cards to the United Kingdom, Germany, USA, Canada, New Zealand and of course Australia. Where do you send cards to?
I sort my cards into countries but after visiting the post office, I only needed to have two piles - one for Australia and the other for the rest of the world! It costs the same amount to post to New Zealand as it does to post to the United Kingdom!!! Go figure!
Just a close up of one. I used the Holiday Treasures DSP along with the Party Hearty stamp set. I added the Double Stitched Baja Breeze Grosgrain Ribbon as it was looking a bit boring and just needed something else. LOL
I've been for a long walk tonight to get rid of the baby weight I gained. I know I am going to feel it tomorrow and be even worse on Sunday but I'm hoping to get back out walking on Sunday so my body will get used to it again. I had back issues while pregnant so long walks were out of the question and I really miss my exercise (never thought I would say that!!).

I am late promoting this mini catalogue, but better late than never! LOL
I have to say that this is one of the best mini catalogues Stampin' Up! have produced so far. I am not a 'butterfly' person but when I saw "Butterfly Prints" AND the matching punch (yes, you read it correctly), the matching punch, I knew if I didn't buy anything else from the mini, this would be the only set. You can see the butterfly on the front cover.
The INKlings organise swaps when a new catalogue is released and I alway jump at the chance to join in and this was no exception. Can you guess what stamp set I used?! Can you? Can you?

These pictures do not do the colours justice! They are basic gray and baja breeze. I was in a hurry to photograph them and the light wasn't great although it was sunny and I didn't use my 'usual' place to photograph them! I guess this is what you get when you rush things.
Anyway, I hope my fellow swappers liked it.

I have been a VERY bad blogger, haven't I? I do apologise for my absence. Life just got in the way. Grab a cuppa if you feel like reading on, it is a bit long.
I have had my son's school concert and his graduation ceremony! Yes, he graduated from pre-school!! LOL. He officially has 4 days left and then he starts 'big' school next year! Oh my!
I have also had his 'kindergarten visit' (big school) where he went on his own (without me that is!) into the kindy class room to have a taste of what is to come. He LOVED it. The school assessed each child to see how they would go leaving their parents. Oliver was fine and I knew I wouldn't have to worry about him leaving me! LOL. He was so excited, he waved furiously to me as all the kids walked out the staff room! We then had his orientation day and again, all the kids went off to the kindy class room while the parents listened to the principal speak. I never knew there was so much paper work to go along with starting school........and the cost of uniforms *insert shocked face*. The uniform will wait until next year.
I have also been out shopping for Christmas presents. Oliver is set (for life, I would say!) but I have no idea what to buy for Emily who will be just about to turn 3 months at Christmas. Actually, I lied......Rob wants to buy her some jewellery to give to her when she is older. He doesn't like jewellery on babies.
Emily is doing great. She gains about 300g each week (will need to get her weighed tomorrow) and is settled into a nice routine where she is sleeping through the night still and even goes back to sleep after her first bottle in the morning at about 6:30am. Unfortunately, Oliver is usually awake not long after 7am so if I do manage to go back to sleep, it isn't for very long. LOL.
The kids had their photo taken with Santa on Monday and I pick up the pictures tomorrow. For the first time in his short life, Oliver was shy.......those that know him, also know he is not shy. He regularly says hello to strangers while in the shopping centre with me. He is such a friendly child, but it does worry be a little. Not everyone says hello back and he doesn't understand why. Poor thing.
Oh, I nearly forgot, Oliver had his birthday last week and we had a party for him the Sunday before. He told us afterwards that he had a 'great day' playing with his friends. LOL. Bless him! I cannot believe that he turned 5! Where did those 5 years go?!
I do have some projects to show you but that will be in another post.
Both Oliver and Emily are asleep but Miss Emily will need 1 more bottle before her 'bed' time and I'm finding this is the best time to get things done around the house so I'm going to say good night to you all (if you are still reading my blog because I have been soooooooooooooo bad) and I will hopefully post my projects over the weekend.
