The following are only two of the four projects we made at convention. Naturally, there just wasn't enough time to finish them all and I need to order the in-colour ink pads (gasp!) but that will have to wait until hubby gets a job. The market has picked up and he is in line for 2 jobs at the moment so fingers crossed on those.
I think this one is so cute. Now that I have seen all the new in-colours up close, I cannot wait to play with them. They really are lovely. You know how sometimes when you see something on paper and you think 'yeah, that's ok', but then you actually see it in person and you're like 'wow, that looks so different', well that is what it was like for me. Don't get me wrong, I thought the colours were nice, but not THIS nice!! I'm also not a 'green' person, but I can see I'll be using Kiwi Kiss a lot in the future. I just need to get those ink pads! LOL. Do you think I'm ink pad deprived?? *wink*
Why have I never made one of these before? I have absolutely no idea why!!
What a great gift to give to someone. Again using the new in-colours with some fabulous double stitched chocolate chip grosgrain ribbon and the Trendy Trees stamp set we received for attending convention. I have a card to show using this stamp set but I won't post it until after hubby's birthday next Sunday (not that he reads this blog - at least I think he doesn't!).
Have a look at the DSP - Tangerine Tango! Yummy. The small polks dot pattern is on the other side but I liked the flowers so I used this side instead. I'm allowed!! LOL
Everything is inside the mediun cellophone bag and I used the word window punch to make the handle. Easy!
The cards that go inside the bag. These are so diddy. They are 2.5" square. I've never made cards this small before!
It's very late (nearly midnight) and I think this baby is telling me to lay down because it is nudging me constantly. I'm over the half way mark now but I will wait until 30 weeks before I start counting down! LOL. I've been doing a lot of cleaning the past few days, you know those jobs that you keep putting off so I got to the pantry today and the plate cupboard with my eye on the freezer and then all that paper work (bill etc...) that need to be filed. I've already done my studio, and boy does that feel and look so much better. Did you know I actually had carpet in here?! LOL
Happy Stamping,
