Each month the INKlings make cards for the charity Camp Quality. Camp Quality is a non-profit organisation that brings hope & happiness to the lives of children living with cancer, their families, and communities.
Jayne Mercer designs the cards and we can copy them exactly or choose a different colour scheme.
I did change the colour on this one. I was going to use Blue Bayou but when I put the two (Bashful Blue as the base) together I didn't like it so I used Wild Wasabi instead. Both are In Colours so that means they will only be around until the 31st March. After that we will be getting new In Colours!!
Jayne also used the Think Happy Thoughts stamp set which I don't own (yet!) so I went with Riveting instead.
Were you every told as a child that blue and green should never be seen together? Well, I don't think they look bad! I like it! LOL
This is the other design. It uses the Priceless stamp set which I don't own either but Luckily, my fellow stamper Lin Mei let me use her set.
I've used Pretty In Pink as the base, Purely Pomegranate and Whisper White.
I love the contrast between the light and dark colours. It really makes you notice the card.
I'm not really a butterfly person, don't ask me why because I really do not know. This set has grown on me though so guess what will be in my next order?!
As you can see we make one for a boy and one for a girl. I made 6 of each at our team gathering the other Saturday evening. That is pretty good going for me. 12 cards in about 6 hours with a dinner break and of course chatting! LOL
Happy Stamping,
Both these cards look terrific but I especially like the girl's card with those butterflies and flourishes. The Priceless set looks like a lovely set. It is going on my wishlist. The butterfly stamped under the sentiment stamp looks like a wonderful idea to try, because it is a lovely, soft feature on the card.
